Annually, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliaries donate more than 13 million volunteer hours of community service. VFW members are mentoring youth groups, helping in community food kitchens, volunteering in blood drives and visiting hospitalized veterans. Others are helping veterans file compensation claims or are "voicing their vote" with elected officials.
On November 9, 2015 The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2805, located in Canoga Park, California will be hosting their annual charity golf tournament at Porter Valley Country Club. All proceeds will go toward services to our veterans.
Services to our veterans include, but are not limited to the support and promotion of:
Veterans and Family Support

The purchase of items such as toiletries and recreation items for our hospitalized veterans

Since 1914, the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars has worked to ensure that America’s Veterans will not be forgotten and those who need assistance will receive it.
The VFW’s ability to provide these services is relied upon by donations and fundraising. This scramble tournament will include all green fees, lunch, dinner and prizes. For prize information please visit our website.
