Role Purpose

As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta, the Project Manager (Enterprise Content Management ) is accountable for effective delivery of various projects within Information Services on behalf of the Enterprise PMO (EPO) and the office of the CIO.

The position requires a high degree of coordination and integration the Business Units of the Enterprise Directorate and the Principals of our schools including a close working relationship with other Leaders or Managers within CEDP

Key Accountabilities

FUNCTION SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Project Manager (Enterprise Content Management) is accountable for:

●  Leading the strategic initiative to deploy an Enterprise Content Management System at CEDP through strategy definition, key requirements gather, product selection, commercial agreement through to product and process change deployment in live service

●  Achieve clarity on the target operating model to be delivered

●  Planning the implementation approach including a strong Change Management plan

●  Oversee, manage and report on all aspects of the assigned projects ensuring a successful implementation according to agreed timeframes and budgets

●  Lead and manage the project team

●  Manage the relationship of CEDP with vendors

●  Ensure the effective deployment and implementation of Systems within CEDP both with the CEO and the schools

●  The role may require support of other projects or activities as directed by the Enterprise PMO Manager and/or the Chief Information Officer

Experience

Ideally the candidate will have:

●  An education sector background, either Higher or Secondary Education would be highly beneficial but not essential

●  Led a similar project in a similar sized or larger organisation

●  Tertiary qualifiedwith a significant record of success deliveringbusiness process and technology change projects in large organisations

●  An appropriate Project management certification, either PMBOK, PMP or Prince2. Agile is also highly regarded.

●  Customer-facing, Enterprise software product experience coupled with the ability to manage complex problems, understand customer needs and recommend solutions

●  Implemented business applicationsacross an enterprise dealing directly with business stakeholders

●  Able toexplain software conceptsand requirements in clear, brief, jargon-free language
