ANALYTICS TEAM - CASE DAYS

Requirements;

·  Have a genuine interest in analysis of data

·  An undergraduate degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry or a related field with outstanding academic record, marked by strong analytical skills and a record of achieving results (MBA and/or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is a plus).

·  Experience and skills on working within a complex environment with demonstrated capabilities in organizing, translating, and presenting complex qualitative and quantitative information.

·  Technically savvy with the capacity to get familiar with new tools.

·  Experience on data mining and business intelligence concepts is a strong plus.

·  Demonstrated proficiency with analytic tools such as SAS and SPSS is a strong plus.

·  Demonstrated proficiency with database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 is a strong plus.

·  Strong analytical and technical skills and the demonstrated ability to creatively solve complex problems

·  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.

·  Ability to work and contribute effectively in teams composed of colleagues and client members.

·  The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel in South Africa, Middle East, Turkey and Europe when necessary.

Job Description

·  Support the senior consultants and project managers to accomplish the following;

-  Design and develop leading–edge statistical/predictive models from multiple data sources, using the most appropriate techniques and tools in data mining for marketing applications in customer retention, acquisition, and growth.

-  Articulate model results, logic, actionable recommendations to clients concisely that maximizes knowledge transfer and hastens the bottom line impact of predictive modeling

-  Analyze and find patterns and relationships in data

-  Refine methods and processes used to extract data from large structured/unstructured datasets

-  Lead efforts to brainstorm and generate variables/indicators from both internal and external data sources

·  Contribute to the preparation of client presentations

·  To provide support to development of proposals and practice documents
