  • Transfer Orientation CALS College Meetings: dates will be emailed to the Agvisors listserv. Next Steps (Transfer Student Academic Preview) for Fall 2015 became available November 5.
  • Fall 2015 transfer students will be required to attend a transfer orientation session for the college component with college advising right after. Students can RSVP via google docs (suggestions?). Major advisors are also welcome to advise then or prior to the college presentation. We plan to schedule them biweekly starting in late March early April.

REMINDERS:

December and January (winter) candidates are now being charged a $50 late fee. Deadline wasSeptember 2.

Deadline for May and August candidates will be Feb. 2 since Feb. 1 is a Sunday

Fall 2014 Professional Development Advising opportunities; refer to CAS Agvisors website or ARC website

On-line degree audit application is now available for Fall 2014 and forward graduating students

  • Online application information and process is on the Agvisors website
  • Discuss process for CALS students
  • Degree audit can still be filed without completion of CLEP or pending transfer course work. We want students to avoid the late $50 late fee for filing. Refer students to take the CLEP as soon as you know they are eligible to take it and encourage them to still file early for their degree audit.

Back 2UA Program: any student with 2.0 cumulative GPA that does not enroll in classes will remain as an active student for two consecutive terms since their last enrollment. No leave of absence is needed.

Office of Career and Academic Services will temporarily relocate to Saguaro Hall

  • Staff in Forbes 211 (Nancy Rodriguez Lorta, Kristen Geary, Maria Bueno and Julie Adkins) and Forbes 204 (Jim Hunt, Kyle Sharp and Dari Trujillo) have moved to Saguaro Hall 221.
  • Staff in Forbes 201 (Joy Winzerling, Elaine Marchello, Frank Santiago, Audrey Levine, Cecilia Mazon) will move the week of December 22 to Saguaro Hall 223.
  • Goal is to move back to the Forbes building in June 2015
