Terms of sale

The Seller/Breeder Agrees:

· This dog is in good health on the date of sale.

· The Buyer shall have 48 hours in which to have the dog examined by their veterinarian. During that time, the dog may be returned for any reason to Autumn Lake Golden Retrievers for a full refund - provided the dog has not been abused (“abused” is defined as: to hurt, injure or sicken by maltreatment). If the dog is returned due to illness, a letter from their veterinarian is required. This includes death or illness from any health condition deemed to be present prior to removal of the dog from Seller’s/Breeder’s premises.

· Buyer shall assume all expenses associated with returning said dog to the Seller/Breeder. This dog may be returned for ANY other reason during the life of the dog with the permission of the Seller/Breeder.

The Buyer Agrees:

· This dog shall be given adequate and proper shelter, and housed securely. This dog shall NOT be restrained routinely by chaining to a stationary object (tree, post, etc.). Further, this dog shall NOT be used for any inhumane, immoral or illegal purposes,

· The dog shall receive proper veterinary care throughout its lifetime. It must receive appropriate vaccinations and placed on heartworm preventative (and if living in Italy, Leishmaniasis protection). The dog shall receive proper nutrition and care shall be taken to maintain its proper weight.

· Notification will be given to the Seller/Breeder first if for any reason the Buyer no longer wants or is capable of keeping the dog. The Seller/Breeder shall have first right-of-refusal if the dog is to be sold or disposed of in any way. If the Seller/Breeder does not wish to acquire the dog, the Seller/Breeder shall assist the Buyer in placing the dog if the Buyer so chooses.

· The Buyer shall notify the Seller/Breeder of any changes of address and shall maintain contact with the Seller/Breeder of any AKC, ANKC, ENCI, etc. titles earned by this dog.

· Buyer agrees to name this puppy starting with the kennel name “Autumn Lake”. For example: “Autumn Lake’s Sammy”.

· No guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied, are given by Seller/Breeder, except those stated herein.

· Buyer warrants and agrees that he/she is the lawful owner of this dog and is alone responsible for entering into this contract with the Seller/Breeder.

Entire Agreement:

The Buyer has read and understands the aforementioned and agrees all parts constitute a binding agreement with the Seller/Breeder. This contract constitutes the entire agreement of the parties hereto with respect to the sale described.
