Clinton County Jr. Fair Board 5K Clover Charge (Color Run)is June 24, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.

Start/Finish:Clinton County Fairgrounds,958 W Main St, Wilmington, OH 45177

Time:On Race Day – Registration begins at 7:45 a.m.

T-shirt Pick-Upfrom 6-8:00 p.m. at the Clinton County Fairground, June 23

5K Walk/Run– $25 Register fee by June 22. After June 22 entry fee is $30 with no shirt.

Fair T-Shirts

The Fashion & Nutrition Board have designed an awesome new t-shirt to celebrate this year’s fair,We’ve Got a Good Thing Growing.The Clinton County Jr. Fair t-shirt order form is available at the OSUE Office or check with your club leaders. Shirt orders are due June 1. The cost is $10 youth, $12 adults and $15 for 2X, 3X & 4X. Please make checks payable to CCFNB.

King & Queen Contest (DUE MONDAY, MAY 15!)

4-H Camp

The registration deadline is in 6 days!Camp forms are available and posted online for youth in grades 3-8 who want to attend 4-H camp this summer. It won’t be long and school will be out and it will be time to pack your bags for 5 days of outdoor fun at 4-H Camp Graham. This year the theme isSurvivor.So be prepared for adventures and challenges that help you explore nature, survival, 4-H and more. The cost is $195 and the deadline is May 18. The fee increases after May 18. Campership requests are due May 15. Junior Camp is June 5-9 at 4-H Camp Graham in Clarksville, Ohio. Please share this information with club members. Forms will not be mailed this season. Skillathon Topics

Members must complete a skillathon for each of the following project areas that they are enrolled in: beef, dairy, dogs, goats, hogs, horses, poultry, rabbitsand sheep at the designated time before the fair to be eligible to show their animals at the fair. Members must also complete an official 4-H/FFA project book or insert, which is 10% of the total skillathon score. The book/insert must be turned in at the time the test is taken. The Skillathon dates are June 22 & 26, 6-8:00 p.m. at the fairground. If you are wanting to know how to prepare for skillathon please study the topics below by department.

Showman to Showman Beef Clinic

The clinic is May 20, 2017 at the Clinton County Fairground, Livestock Expo Center from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Bring your 2017 Beef project on site for practice in clipping and fitting. A showmanship judge, veterinary and trimmer will be onsite during the clinic. Go towww.showmantoshowman.comfor registration information. The cost is $10.00 and is due at check-in.

Quality Assurance

PQA/QA-Clinton County is offering several PQA/QA sessions: All county PQA/QA events will certify all specie areas including hogs. Members need to attend one PQA/QA session to show and sell a market or lactating livestock project. Below is a listing of the PQA/QA sessions we have already scheduled. Check with you FFA instructor to see if the certification is being provided for members at your school.There is a $5 fee to all out of county participants.
