Supervisor at Khalifa Football Stadium, Doha, Qatar. One of 4 supervisors involved in everyday project management of a 50,000-seat stadium renovation from Steel installation to Fabric roofing. Duties included supervision of steel cable rigging and installation, scaffold management, personnel distribution and rope access coordinator.

Dec 2000- June 2004:

Spacewrench Ltd

Employed to manage UK branch of a German company, specialists in tensile membrane canopy installation. Spacewrench ltd. was involved in various stadium roof installations, to name a few larger projects, Al-Ain Stadium in the Emirates, Fenerbahce Stadium, Istanbul and Hamburg Stadium, N. Germany. Tasks included all the day-to-day office demands, VAT returns, payroll, invoicing etc. and getting contracts world wide for the business. Also had to go to sites for initial setup and often stayed on site throughout as team leader.

1994 to 2003:

Employed with Hi-Rope initially as a level I mostly on construction projects throughout the North Sea, occasionally assisting inspection or electrical maintenance teams in the Southern sector. Achieved Level III March ’96. Became resident team leader in the Viking and Murdoch fields assisting a number of AHT/TORCH Inspection teams, construction teams and maintenance teams across all Conoco installations in the Southern sector. Also covered many Shell installations in the area.

1998 to 1999:

Spent some of this time both in the Northern and Southern sector for Hi-Rope but after April left the southern sector due to erratic trip patterns, regular trips being more reliable in the north. Also between ’98 & ’99 worked for Rigblast/SAS assisting in the Amarada Hess AH001 platform inspection program.
