Cutler PTO 2015-16 Year Review
As we begin to wrap up the school year, we’d like to first of all, thank ALL of the parents, teachers and administrative employees who faithfully came to monthly meetings, worked on fundraisers and financially supported the PTO this year.
Monthly Meetings: We started out strong with a record number of people attending the September meeting. We would love to see more people attend on a regular basis going forward. It’s a great way to find out what is going on at Cutler, as well as make sure that your voice is heard. With the exception of the February meeting, all meetings were held on Tuesdays from 6-7pm in the Media Center. Our meetings are very casual and almost all had been concluded within 45-60 minutes.
Fundraising Events: We had four major fundraisers this year and they were as follows
Color Fun Run in October raised $3,185.53
Book Fair in December which raised $770.19 in cash and $337.95 in Scholastic Dollars
Little Caesars in January which raised $499.00
Spaghetti Dinner/Basket Bonanza in March which raised $2,201.19
Total Raised: $6,993.86
Target, Amazon Smile, Stop & Shop and the Ink Jet Recycling Program have brought in a little over $50.00 as of 4/12/2016. Please visit our website to sign up if you haven’t already.

In Conclusion, we budget to spend almost everything we take in. Our goal is to find parents who will write grants and encourage more corporate sponsors. We’d like more parent involvement to offer more than one enrichment program a year.
New board members are needed and your ideas for fundraisers (or anything else) are always welcome! We will take a vote on nominations given at our May 17th meeting. Please come!! You can communicate with us at the new email address:
