Welcome to the Berwick City Soccer Club

The Club is a diverse and multi-cultural club at the gateway to the south-eastern growth corridor of Melbourne, in close proximity to Fountain Gate Shopping Centre and the new freeway extension, offering opportunities for juniors and seniors wanting to participate in sport.

The Club was established in 1974 and is affiliated with the Football Federation of Victoria (FFV). We have membership in excess of 400 junior players, ranging from ages 5 to 18, with 18 teams, including 9 Small Sided Football teams and 9 Junior teams and a large FFV Small Sided Football Under 7 Program. We also field Senior Men’s and Women’s teams with over 65 players.

The Club is run by a dedicated group of volunteers and relies on players, parents and extended family to support these volunteers.

It provides opportunities for Melbourne Victory player visits to the Club and participation by our small sided football players on Melbourne Victory home game days at Etihad or AAMI Stadiums.

PLAYER ACHIEVEMENTS

Berwick City is proud of its achievements in providing opportunities for future soccer stars. The Club ethos is to provide a pathway for all players to play at the highest level. There is a strong representation of junior players going onto play Senior soccer at the Club. A number of players have also progressed to play in the VPL and at State One level. The Club is well represented with over 50 junior players continuing their football development as part of the FFV Victorian Champions League summer program. A number of the Clubs players have also played at a Regional and State level. Some of our former junior players have gone on to play at a higher level interstate and overseas, such as: Matthew Park – Hearts, Scotland and Liam McCormack - Brisbane Roar, Queensland.
