Describe how OPSA members will benefit from the courses/programme that you plan to offer.
Indicate in which areas you plan to offer training / Soft skills / Qualifications / Technology Skills / Office Skills / Leadership skills
List the specific details of all the programmes (short courses, qualifications, conferences) that you would like to apply for and their duration or attach the programme to the application e.g. Telephone Skills (2 days)
Describe the arrangements you have in place for quality assurance, development and monitoring of CPD programmes
Describe if you have administrative systems in place to manage participants on the programme. Mention also how you plan to ensure the integrity of the participant records and certification processes. Oversight and monitoring responsibility should be clearly allocated and acted upon.
Do you offer any support services that support teaching and learning (e.g. library, access to online resources etc.)?
Describe the recruitment, selection and development of suitably qualified and experienced presenters/facilitators to deliver your programmes. Also mention if staff capacity in relation to programme needs is regularly reviewed.
Explain if, and how regular, programme evaluation is conducted

Please note:

·  The OPSA CPD policy and Competency Profile that supports the OPSA CPD offerings are available on www.opsa.org.za

·  As part of the recognition as an OPSA approved CPD provider, OPSA reserves the right to send a senior representative to assess the quality of the programme during the event or where possible, have an OPSA representative have a 15 minute slot during the event to promote OPSA.

·  OPSA will provide an accreditation block with the OPSA logo and accreditation points allocated to the programme which is to be displayed on all approved marketing material.

·  The supplied accreditation block can only be displayed on approved programmes. If it is found on programmes that have not been submitted for approval, the provider name will be taken off the website and no further applications will be considered.

·  OPSA will list all approved CPD providers on the OPSA website with the relevant programme/s.

·  The recognition of a CPD Training Provider and the accredited programme/s will remain valid for one calendar year.

·  OPSA has the final authority to approve or disapprove the allocation of CPD points.

·  Your company will be required to keep a register of attendees of any event, for a period of 5 years. Should an OPSA member be audited and have attended one of these events, OPSA would confirm the member’s attendance with your records.

·  The relevant fee per CPD point is payable upon application. An invoice will be submitted upon receipt of the completed application form and approval of the application.
