This nationally recognised course incorporates CPPACC4007A – Conduct a Streetscape Access Audit, a unit of competency from the Certificate IV in Access Consulting. It is ideal for people who have responsibility for reviewing, planning, designing, managing and reviewing compliance on accessible urban streetscape design, conducting access audits to assess the provision of access for people with disabilities, as well as those who are required to provide advice to others regarding access issues in the built environment
The course aligns withnational units of competency from CPP40811 Certificate IV in Access Consulting and CPP50711 Diploma of Access Consulting.
The course provides a framework for participants to undertake an access audit of a streetscape and activity centre and covers the essential key componentsof access including:
- Overview of disability access issues
- Overview of relevant State and Federal legislation and Australian Standards
- Identification of key access issues, barriers and solutions
- Undertaking an Access Audit of a streetscape and/or activity centre
- Reviewing and testing of knowledge learned
Course fee $1,300.00 (no GST) per personincludes all course materials and catering.
