KRISLAMVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

KRISLAMVILLEELEMENTARY SCHOOL has the following Objectives of Anti-Bullying and Child Protection Policy:

Minimize or totally eradicate bullying practices that may cause harm to children in school

Educate parents on Child- Protection Policy and Anti-Bullying

Conduct activities for pupils, school personnel and service providers on how to respond to bullying acts

Strategize on how to strengthen the relationship of children with their peers and school mates.

Coordinate with LGU’s, NGO’s, Barangay Officials and other stakeholders on school activities / programs.

Foster team building activities that may help in the promotion of positive self-esteem and interpersonal relationships.

Discuss issues related to bullying and recommend strategies for responding to and reporting of incidents of bullying.

Educate responsible online behavior and safety and how to recognize and report cyber-bullying.

Provide an inclusive and caring learning environment for pupils.

Disseminate information and significant policies of the school towards anti-bullying and child protection

Be vigilant in protecting children from harm that may be caused by their peers or adults

Safeguard children from possible bullies and people who may inflict harm to them

Monitor pupils who are vulnerable to committing aggressive acts or who are perpetrators of bullying or who are targets or victims for the purpose of early intervention which is conducted with utmost confidentiality and respect for all parties concerned.

Promote Culture of Peace wherein pupils respect each other in and out of school

The following are the school policies on anti-bullying and child protection:

  1. Children are prohibited to name names that may insult the culture, personality and family of his/her peer.
  1. Any form of teasing such as impersonating someone is an offensive act.
  1. Writing on walls implying an insult against another child is bullying.
  1. Slapping, boxing, etc. that harms another child is not allowed.
  1. Destroying personal things of one’s peer is bullying.

Hence, our pupils will be protected from:

  1. Any form of Child Discrimination such as: age, ethnicity, sex, language and religion.
  2. Any form of Child Exploitation such as: talking advantage, gratification, cruelty and harmful treatment.
  3. Any form of Physical Violence, such as: assigning children to perform task in the school which are hazardous to their physical well-being and corporal punishment.
  4. Any form of sexual violence such as: rape, sexual harassment, act lasciviousness, forcing child to watch pornography and any sexual/physical threat.
  5. Any form of Physical Violence such as: intimidation, harassment, stalking, threat of deduction from grade, or merit as a form of punishment and verbal deformation.
