Condo Arrival:

  1. No smoking in condo, use of the fireplace, or use of gas or charcoal grills on the deck!
  2. Water Supply - Turn ON water supply faucet located in furnace closet on wall behind and near the top of the water heater.
  3. Circuit Breakers – Turn ONfurnace andwater heater circuit breakers located in junction box on left hall wall just in front of guest bathroom door, the two on the upper right in the junction box.
  4. Washer - Turn washer hot and cold faucets ON. Make sure washer drain hose is held in place by the brick so it doesn’t pop out. Note: doors to washer and dryer area must be open while either is being used or fire alarm will go off.
  5. Bath Rooms – Turn On faucets below stool tanks. Flush toilets when tank is filled to check operation and for leaks. Make sure pans under sinks are located to catch any leaks from faucet and drain lines.
  6. Kitchen Sink – Make sure there are no leaks under the sink. Make sure pans under sinks are located to catch any leaks from faucet and drain lines.
  7. Sliding Doors - Unlock (pull down) up latches at the top outside edges of both right and left sliding deck doors.
  8. Deck Furniture - Put deck chairs and table out on deck. Deck Chairs are in the living room area.
  9. Bicycles – The blue Next trail bike is in bike storage shed at north end of parking lot. Bike lock keys and key to bike shed (yellow fob) are on hook by the phone.
  10. Furnace/Air Conditioning – Set thermostat to Heat or Cool according to the weather and set temperature to desired level. Turn OFF if windows/doors open. Do not use Emergency Heat setting.
  11. Refrigerator - Turn on icemaker (Throw out any old ice that may have been left).
  12. Phone – Plug in cordless phone power supplies in kitchen and in master bedroom.
  13. Answer Machine – Reset greeting, day, and time.
  14. Door Mat – Put out in front of door.
  15. Boat Slip - Is number Xfrom the south end of the pier.
  16. Local Maps, Restaurant Info, etc. – in box by the phone.
  17. Mail Box – Located at north end of parking lot. Box has unit number on it and key is on yellow fob with bike keys.
  18. Outdoor temperature sensor – Remove from top of fireplace mantle and hang on nail on south wall of deck.

Condo Departure:

  1. Dish Washer - Do not leave any dirty dishes (Run dishwasher or hand wash as necessary.).
  2. Washer - Turn off hot and cold washer faucets and leave washer lid up. Leave washer/dryer doors open.
  3. Water Supply - Turn Off water supply faucet located in furnace closet on wall behind and near the top of the water heater.
  4. Circuit Breakers - Turn OFF furnace and water heater circuit breakers located in junction box on left hall wall just in front of guest bathroom door, the two on the upper right in the junction box.
  5. Furnace/Air Conditioning – Set thermostat to OFF.
  6. Refrigerator - Remove all perishables from the refrigerator and take home with you, or give them to someone, or throw in trash. Turn off Ice Maker and throw any remaining ice in the sink or take it with you to keep take home food cool.
  7. Phone - Unplug cordless phone power supplies in kitchen and master bedroom. (Leave answer machine in kitchen hooked up and ON.).
  8. Condo Key - Leave extra condo key on the hook by the phone.
  1. Bicycles – Lock blue NEXT trail bike to rack in bicycle storage room at north end of parking lot if used. Bike lock keys and key to bike shed (yellow fob) are on hook by the phone.
  1. Bathrooms - Leave bathroom stool lids UP. Turn off faucets below stool tanks. Check that no faucets are dripping. Make sure pans under sinks are located to catch any leaks from faucet and drain lines.
  2. Kitchen Sink – Make sure panunder sink is located to catch any leaks from faucet and drain lines.
  3. Deck Furniture - Bring deck chairs and table inside. Put chairs and table in living room area.
  4. Outdoor temperature sensor – Bring in from south deck wall and leave on fireplace mantle.
  5. Windows/Doors - Close all vertical blinds and lock all windows and doors. Make sure the patio door is latched in the middle and the up locks (push up) at the top outer edge of each door are engaged.
  6. Lights - Turn off all lights.
  7. Door Mat - Bring in door mat.
  8. Trash - Take out to dumpster at north end of parking lot.
  9. Front Door - Lock dead bolt on the front door.

Cleaning Service – If you choose to use it, costs $55 and has a key (Make sure they follow departure instructions):
