Project Description

Industry Based Marketing:

Xerox has a range of products and services around document processes. Goal of this project is to conduct market research on certain industries and position the Xerox products and services bundled specifically for that industry. Goal is to increase the sales revenue and increase the value we provide to customers.

Problem Definition (please briefly describe the problem to be examined)

Currently Industry focus and industry based marketing is not executed fully at Xerox Turkey. This leads to less than ideal value proposition to the customers in that industry and a weaker approach to the market.

Project Objectives and scope

Project objectives are:

1)Conduct market research and industry research to understand the current state and demands (pain points) of that industry.

2)Position products and services to resolve the pain points of that industry and come up with an effective value proposition to the customers in that industry.

Project scope for market / industry research: Finance, Retail, Education.

Project scope for products and services: Xerox products and services launched in Turkey, Europeor US.

Project scope for business development is limited with current andpotential customers in İstanbul.

Project support and resources that will be provided by the Company

Xerox Lean Six Sigma black belt candidate will manage and coordinate this project. Xerox Global Services sales team, sales specialists and analysts will support this project. Access to internal global knowledge base will be provided which includes market research, best practices and success stories along with technical information. Access to the customers will be provided through Xerox account managers.Access to employees in marketing, sales and service will be provided through project sponsor. Office space, PCs, Software required to conduct research and develop marketing plan will be provided. Transportation, lunch ticket, and compensation (amount to be determined) will be provided.
