Disney’s All Star Movie Resort

(407) 939-7000

From Your Directors

A great deal of hard work has gone into the preparation of this performance tour. Many people have made a contribution to this event, and we are their representatives. Our school, as well as the community of Hamburg will be represented by our personal behavior. High standards are expected of all of us and it is our obligation to fulfill this trust. Always remember: FUTURE TOURS DEPEND DIRECTLY ON YOU; your attitude and your conduct. If you follow this Tour Handbook exactly, we will not experience any difficulties but will receive a good deal of satisfaction, enjoyment, personal growth and memories that will last a lifetime.

Our schedule is very exact and many people will be inconvenienced if we run late. Therefore, make it your responsibility to be in the proper place, at the right time, and with or wearing the appropriate dress. Persons we meet and interact with while on tour, in whatever capacity, will know our community, our school, and us, only by your actions. Therefore, be punctual, be neat in appearance, and be courteous and respectful to everyone. School Rules and Regulations will apply at all times.

Tips for a successful tour:

- Always be on time!

- Take a picture of your ticket (front & back) so in case you lose it you can go to Guest

Services and have it replaced.

- Always travel in a group of at least 3 people while in the parks.

- Do not leave the hotel or park that we are in for the day for ANY reason. Your

ticket will NOT get you into any other park except the one we are in that day.

- If you are not feeling well, go the infirmary inside the park and they will be able to

get in touch with a director or the nurse.

- Be courteous to our chaperones, airport staff, hotel staff and Disney park staff.

Disrespect of any of these individuals will not be tolerated. Be respectful of the

property we will visit.

- Disney takes stealing VERY seriously and will arrest students for

shoplifting!!!

The arrangements for this tour have been most extensive. Koch Travel, along with your teachers, chaperones, administrators and parents, have all contributed a great deal of time and energy to make this tour a worthwhile experience FOR YOU! Now it is your turn to use this opportunity to justify the pride and trust these people have in Frontier High School and the Music Department.

HAVE A GREAT TOUR!

Directors,

Rules and Regulations

The general Rules and Regulations that pertain to the Frontier Music Department, the Frontier Central School District, and this Performance Tour must be adhered to by all students participating in this excursion.

It is the desire of the Music Department that the Disney World, Orlando tour reflect a high level of commitment to a positive group activity. Therefore, in keeping with the policy of the Frontier Central School District, possession or use of alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs is prohibited on a school sponsored trip. All other school rules also apply for this trip.

Violation of the above policy will result in the following actions:

A.Immediate suspension from the activity.

B.Notification of parents and school administrators.

C.Violator(s) will be sent home at parents’ expense (including the cost of the

accompanying chaperone).

D.Probable suspension from future activities with the Music Department.

E.Disciplinary action will be taken by the Principal upon return.

1.There will be no inter-room visitation in the hotel after the announced curfew. Students may never visit rooms of the opposite sex!! Students in violation of this will be sent home. A referral will also be made to the administration for any further action that may be deemed appropriate.

2.No one is to be out of their room past curfew and should remain there until the scheduled morning event.

3.Doors must be opened immediately upon the request of any chaperone however, remember to get proper identification first.

4.Strict adherence to the dress code is required. Students will be sent back to change if they are not properly dressed. Please, no ripped clothing, inappropriate t-shirts, short shorts or low cut tops.

5.Please be courteous of the other guests. Keep your voice low. "Horseplay,"

etc., in the hotel will not be tolerated.

6.The condition of the rooms in which we will be staying will be monitored

very carefully by the hotel officials. Report any damage to one of our

chaperones as soon as you check-in. Otherwise you may have to pay

for damage you did not cause. Any damage which occurs in any room

will be equally shared by all those assigned to that room. What was in

the room, remains in the room. Towels are not souvenirs.

Rules and Regulations

(continued)

7.When traveling in a large group with students, stores tend to take extra

measures to protect themselves from shoplifters. If this problem arises,

violators will be prosecuted. This means that any kind of theft, whether

jokingly or otherwise, will be dealt with seriously. This then becomes a

problem for the Frontier Central School District which means punishment

and enforcement of school policy rules, not to mention embarrassment and

shame upon the entire group activity.

How to Survive A Hotel Fire

  1. Know where the fire exits are. Make sure they are open and know where they lead to. If they do not open, call security at once. Do this FIRST when you arrive at your hotel.
  1. Know where your room key is at all times. Keep it in an easily accessible place (ex. on your bed stand) so you can reach it if you wake up and find your roomfull of smoke.
  1. At the first smell of smoke, call the fire department, not the desk. Tell the firedepartment your room number.
  1. Do not leave your room without checking the doorknob and the door. If it is hot, do not open the door. If it is not hot, open the door slowly to check for smoke in the hallway. If there is a lot of smoke, cover your face with a wet towel and go to the fire exit. Stay near the floor where there is more oxygen. NEVER use the elevator and take your room key with you in case you have to return.
  1. If you must stay in your room, do not break the windows. If there is smoke below, you may have to close them. Block all vents and door cracks with wet towels and sheets. If the walls become hot, use the ice bucket or anything available to throw water on them.
  1. Avoid smoke inhalation by covering your face with a wet towel. You will succumb to smoke inhalation long before fire reaches you.
  1. Stay calm and do not panic. Try to think clearly.

Some Eden cheerleaders accused of shoplifting

by Sandra Tan

Buggs refused to say whether any incident had taken place, whether the district was taking the matter seriously, or what potential disciplinary actions might be.Cheerleaders from Eden are learning a hard lesson: Don't steal from Mickey Mouse.

Some members of the Eden High School cheerleading squad went on a shoplifting spree in Walt Disney World last month, according to Florida law enforcement officials.

The varsity squad was in Orlando, Fla., to participate in a cheerleading competition. But some girls had a run-in with the law after the competition.

At least two were arrested and charged with stealing from the Magic Kingdom. They must return to court in Florida. Other girls received warnings.

School district officials refused to answer questions about the matter, even though details about it have been known in the community for two weeks.

Superintendent Ronald Buggs would not confirm the incident happened. Board members and other school officials also refused to discuss the matter.

"I don't have any comment," board President Tom Gannon said. "This is a confidentiality matter. If you get information from Florida, that's fine."
