Christopher Strong Natural Resource Management Fellowship

The Christopher Strong Natural Resource Management Fellowship is open to any individual/school/community group undertaking a project in a Rural or Urban area.

a)Rural

Improvement of sustainable agriculture through research, trials and experiments OR improvement and/or maintenance of local ecosystem(s);

b)Urban

Improvement of sustainable living OR improvement and/or maintenance of local ecosystem(s).

Project Fundingup to $1,500- to be used for associated project costs and expenses ONLY.

Criteria

Applications will be judged on the following:

It must bemanaged and relate to the Tamar Region;

It must emphasise improvement in either a rural or urban area(s);

It must be completed within twelve months on receipt of funds.

On project completion, the Applicant(s) will:

Write one article on project outcomes (including photographs) for the quarterly newsletter,'Naturally Yours' (this article will also be included in the Annual Report);

Give a short project presentation at one of the Management Committee meetings during the year.

Please Note: Knowledge and resources developed from your project will be made available to Tamar Natural Resource Managementfor use within the community.

Late applications will not be accepted after the closing date, however, the management committee reserve the right to extend the closing date in any given year. Management Committee will accept or reject applications based on established criteria.
