ISAE REGIONAL MEETING

It is our honour and pleasure to invite you to participate in the Joint meetingof the East Central and West Central Europe Regions of the International Society for Applied Ethology (ISAE), which will be held near Prague in asmall and nice town - Kostelec nad Černými Lesy (Czech Republic) onJune 1 - 4, 2011.
The aim of the Joint regional meeting is to present and to discuss ongoingresearch in the field of applied ethology and animal welfare in our ISAE-regions. The meeting is open to both members and non-members of the ISAE.
The main but not the only possible theme of the meeting will be ”maternal behaviour and survival of the offspring”. All contributions will be presented in English.

December 15, 2010 / opening of registration and abstract submissionFebruary 6, 2011 / deadline for abstract submission
March 6, 2011 / notification about acceptance and allocation of presentations
April 30, 2011 / final registration deadline
June 1 - 4, 2011 / joint regional meeting
Location
The meeting will be held on the east boarders of the capital of the Czech Republic Prague, in a small town Kostelec nad Černými Lesy, in a beautiful castle from the sixteenth century, which is partly surrounded by a thick forest. The historical building offers under its elegant roof not only the genius loci but alsocongress rooms and accommodation as well as a restaurant. The public transport connects Kostelec nad Černými Lesy with Prague( very fast and easily.
Call for papers
At the meeting,there will be the possibility for oral as well as for posterpresentations. The oral presentations will be restricted to a maximum of 15minutes plus at least 5 minutes for discussion. Posters will be displayedthroughout the meeting and we will have an additional poster session.Deadline for abstract submission is February 6, 2011. It may be possible that the scientific committee will change a submitted oral presentation into a poster.All participants will be notified about the acceptance and allocation of theirpresentation until March 6, 2011.
Abstracts
Starting December 15., abstract can be submitted online. The length of each abstract is limited to a maximal number of 300 words, not counting title, author's name(s) and first author address. References should not be cited in abstract.
