Course description: This one credit course is the second class in the AVTF pathway and will further prepare students for careers associated with the film and television industries.

Class Rules: Be on time. Be where you are supposed to be at all times. Cell phones are not to be used during class unless specifically directed to do so. Treat everyone with respect. Be careful with equipment. No food or drink.

Parent/Teacher/Student Communication: Please monitor student’s progress (both attendance and grades). The most efficient way to communicate with me is by e-mail to the address –mailto: Each student will provide a valid internet e mail address for various communications and projects. The student will be required to fill out an information form so that clear lines of communication can be established.

Attendance & Make Up/Late Work:

1. It is the student’s responsibility to make-up any missed work.

2. If a student is absent on the due date of a project, the project must be turned in on the day the student returns to class.

3. Attendance is important. “I did not know” is not an acceptable excuse.

Evaluation/Assessment:

The final grade for each student will be 80% from semester work and 20% from the final exam. The semester work grade will be determined by the following percentages:

50% Projects

25% Work Ethic Grade (Professionalism, Employability skills, Punctuality)

25% Written Assignments
