CCSD M.S. Summer School Scholarships
CCSD Summer Partial Scholarship
- We are pleased to be able to ease some of the burden of Summer School costs for some families who need help.
- The cost of summer school is $350.
- Partial scholarship recipients will only pay $50.
- Other factors will be taken into consideration, including attendance and discipline.
Instructions:
Applications for CCSD Summer School Partial Scholarships will only be made available to counselors.
Counselors will facilitate the application process for students in need of financial assistance to apply for a Scholarship.
The window for application is May 14th-23th. The application is due by close of business on May 23th.
Instructions for counselors:
- Fill out the application, adding the course to be taken in needed for summer school to the application and the year average of the course. The application is not to be handed out or emailed to parents/guardians/students as this is an internal document.
- Personnel in the Office of Assessment & Personalized Learning will complete a rubric to determine scholarship awards.
- Email the completed application to or fax it to 678-594-8571 Attn: Summer School Scholarships.
- Principals will be notified of the students who have been awarded scholarships on May 30th.
- Principalswill send notification of award receipt via Retention Letter insert. If awarded a scholarship an appointment to pay their portion of the tuition must be made with (770-426-3552) at 514 Glover St. by cash or money order between May 39th and June 7th. Payment may also be made at Sprayberry High school during walk in registration on June 11th.
- If counselors receive questions regarding scholarships, please, share that parents/guardians will be notified via mail in the retention letter. There will not be a communication indicating that no award was offered. Therefore, students must assume that they have not received a scholarship and should proceed with registration.

Homeless Scholarships

English Language Learner Scholarships
A student who is currently receiving ESOL services and needs financial assistance may also be able to receive aid through the Title III program. The ESOL/Title III office has made available a limited number of free tuition waivers. School counselors must contact their ESOL lead who will be in contact with the ESOL supervisor.
