. Terms and Conditions
1. The STARS tuition programme is committed to organizing tuition services of good standards by matching providers of suitably qualified tutors (eg Students from Universities, Junior Colleges and Upper Secondary Schools) and primary or lower secondary students who need assistance with academic subjects but lack the funding to secure help.
2. Tutees are expected to behave appropriately during tuition sessions, be attentive, adopt a keen learning attitude and not disrupt the teachings and discussions during the sessions. Tutees are expected to attend the tuition sessions punctually and parents undertake to ensure regular attendance by their children. In the event that the tutee will be absent from tuition, the parents should advise the organizer in advance. The programme organizer reserves the right to request the tutee to leave the programme in the event that he/she exhibits disruptive behaviour.
3. The programme organizer reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of tuition service including cessation of the programme or charging a nominal tuition fee by giving at least one (1) month’s notice. Current fee arrangement is S$5 per month for families not on Financial Assistance Scheme, and free for those who have received Financial Assistance within the last 24 months before signing up for STARS programme.
I declare that I allow my child / ward to participate in the Ulu Pandan Tuition Service Programme. Whilst the organizer of this programme will take every precautionary measure to ensure the safety of my child / ward, I understand and agree that they will not be held liable for any injury or loss sustained by my child/ward during the programme. I further agree with the terms and conditions as set out above.
