Nomination for DC Chapter President

Robert Norton - I have been a member of DC/EAP and its predecessor AEAPP since 1982. I have held various positions in the mental health and substance abuse communities including leadership positions. Over the past 22 years, I have been an EAP Counselor with several government agencies, in addition to holding several posts in DC/EAPA. I bring a wealth of experience and a collaborative style of interaction that I believe will well serve the chapter and membership.

Nominations for DC Chapter 1st Vice President (in alphabetical order)

Barbara Fornoff, LCSW/LSATP/CEAP/SAP - I have been in the EAP field since 1990 and worked in a variety of EAP settings. I have been a member of DC EAPA since 2011 and attained the CEAP in 2012. I am an Account Manager with Inova EAP.

Goals: Continue to bring engaging speakers to educate our members in EAP, have the web page updated, and encourage mentoring of new EAP’s and private practitioners.

Peggy Montgomery - I am a LCSW-C with an EAP Certification. I have worked in the field since 1987. I currently am the Clinical Operations Coordinator for Kolmac Clinic. I returned to the DC EAP Chapter in October 2014. I envision enhancement of the chapter’s influence on addiction and mental health practices.

Nominations for DC Chapter 2nd Vice President (in alphabetical order)

Shannon Harris, BA - Currently I work in referral relations for a behavioral health provider but past roles have included human resources and recruiting. I am eager to help the DC EAPA Chapter meet the goals and expectations of its members. I hope that my eclectic experience combined with my communications and marketing skills will bring a fresh perspective to the role of 2nd Vice President.

Carolyn Stueve - Once again I am honored to hear that I have been nominated to be an officer for the DC chapter of EAPA. My tenure as Chapter Secretary has been enjoyable. I have decided to put my name on the ballot again to maintain some continuity within the board. As 2nd Vice President, I would like to keep the meetings informative as well as maintain the behind the scenes functions.

Nomination for DC Chapter Treasurer

Maia Dalton-Theodore, LCSW, CSAC, SAP - I have been a member of DC EAPA since 2000. I am the Behavioral Health Coordinator for Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. I worked in the Addictions field and for Amtrak as regional EAP counselor and national EAP manager. While I have never held a chapter office, I have accepted this nomination for treasurer to become more involved in service in the DC chapter.

Nominations for DC Chapter Secretary (in alphabetical order)

Stacie Chapman - I am running for DC EAPA Secretary. I currently hold LCPC, CEAP, SAP and CTS licenses and certifications. I’ve been working at the Pentagon EAP for four and a half years and involved with DC EAPA for the last two years. I’d be great as secretary as I’m organized, detail-oriented and always willing to help out. I’d love to be your secretary and get more involved with our chapter.

Cyndi Wagner, LPC, LCPC, NCC - I am honored to be nominated for Chapter Secretary. I have benefited from attending chapter meetings over the years and would now like to give back to the chapter. My hope is to continue to provide timely communication regarding chapter activities and increase our communication/networking opportunities with other EAP & mental health professionals in DC.

Currently, I am an EAP counselor with FOH EAP & expect to receive the CEAP in 2015.
