Meeting was held on–07-13-2015--at St. Peter Meeting rooms A & B.
Meeting was called to order by Grand Knight Chuck Beebe
Warden John Fosset reported on membership cards.
Opening prayer was led by Grand Knight at the Shrine of the Unborn.

ADMISSIONS REPORT:BrotherRoy Staszak;
No new additions or transfers, there are currently 142 members in our council.
GRAND KNIGHTS REPORT: Brother Chuck Beebe;
(1)-Gave plan for the upcoming year with the budget. More info to follow.
(2)-Deacon Todd gave talk about the “Good Works Project” that Father would like to expand on.
(3)-Also Father would like to see more and continued involvement with Sacrament services by the Knights.
(4)-DEGREE CERTIFICATES: No certificates this meeting.
(5)-FAMILY AND KNIGHT OF THE MONTH: Brothers Paul Dietl and Bob Hogan for their work organizing and running the Knights picnic.

(1)-Budget comparison checks out with treasurers report.
(2)-Budget will be discussed at the next meeting.
(3)-Tom talked about Honeybrooks “Harmony Day” celebration on Sept. 19th. He needs volunteers for the second half. All proceeds collected goes to the Honeybrook Food Bank.
REPORT OF AUDITORS AND TRUSTEES: PGKs Joe Mitri, Roy Staszak, and Ted Mirenda;
From brother Ted Mirenda, nothing to report at this meeting. Semi-annual report will be available at the next meeting.
CHANCELLORS REPORT ON VOCATIONS: Brother Jim Reif;
(1)-Received notice of the passing of Jean O’Kane, mother of Pat O’Konnor, wife of past Supreme State Deputy Michael O’ Konnor.
(2)-Jim Mulry, brother Knight, recently had surgery for cancer and is recovering.
(3)-Sharon Bullock, wife of brother Knight Jack is responding well to treatments for her cancer.
(4)-Brother Ron Yavorka recently has had a bout with heart surgery and is doing well.
(5)-Birthday wishes went to brother Joe Mitri who made it to 75 years.
(6)-Seminarian David O’ Brian has finished his “Year of Discernment” and is back at his studies.
REPORT OF SERVICE COMMITTEES: Brother DGK Tom Lanchoney;
CHURCH DIRECTOR: Brother Tom Lanchoney;
(1)-St. Peter Parish is having a Potluck Picnic following all masses on Saturday and Sunday, July 18th and 19th. Luau with your friends under the big tent and be sure to wear your favorite Hawaiian clothing. Sign up to bring your favorite dish; .
(2)-The Parish Health Ministry is offering free blood pressure screening next Sunday, July 19th following the 8:30am and 10:30am masses. Screenings will be held in the ushers room across from the library.
(3)-One sure way to lower your blood pressure is to reduce the amount of blood in your body by donating your blood to the American Red Cross who will conduct a blood drive at St. John Paul II Regional Elementary School on Thursday, August 13th, from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. To make your donation, either register on line at or call Gail Woods at 610-942-2134.

(1)-Tom commented on the success of the Knights picnic and urged those who did not or could not attend to make an effort to come to the next picnic.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
(1)-Brother Paul Dietl thanked everyone who attended the Knights Picnic and pig roast and he plans to reserve the same pavilion for the weekend of July 16th to avoid the Fourth of July crowds. The camp ground has built more cabins so he urges members who wish to attend to make reservations early. See Paul or Bob Hogan for details.
(2)-Brother Roy Staszak thanked everyone who helped the Coach Vermiel night, which made $342.00 which will go the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
(3)-Brother Jim Reif received a thank you note from West Brandywine Eagle Scout Project.
(4)-Brother Ted Mirenda read a thank you note from a seminarian for donation he received from our council.
NEW BUSINESS: No new business discussed.
REPORT OF THE FOURTH DEGREE: Worthy Faithful Navigator Sir Joe Mitri;
(1)-Chester County Assembly will be at the 9:30am mass at the Convention on August 4th, then proceed to the Adoration Chapel from 11:30am to 5:00pm.
(2)-There are no Fourth Degree meetings during July and August.
