Hints for High Grades: Come to class! If you are absent, make sure you find out what you missed. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO GET THE NOTES YOU MISSED AND ANY HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT YOU MAY HAVE MISSED!!!

Be prepared for class. This means homework, read ahead and bring your textbook, paper and pencil to class.

Participate in class. Take notes, work in groups and ask questions. Chances are something you don’t get, someone else doesn’t either.

Review what you learn each day.

BEING UNPREPARED OR UNINFORMED DOES NOT EXCUSE YOU FROM THE DAY’S ASSIGNMENT OR HOMEWORK.

Finally, give Geometry a chance; it can be extremely exciting and fun!

Classroom Etiquette:

Be respectful of your classmates and your teacher.

Coming in late, packing up your textbooks and/or leaving early, and not giving your full attention in the class are all distracting and disrespectful to your classmates.

NO cell phones, pagers or iPods should be out during class time for ANY reason. If you have a cell phone out during class, I will take it up and keep it till the end of class. If the phone is ON, it will be taken to the office and your parents will have to come to the school and claim it for you!

DO NOT ask personal questions about your grades, missing a class or test, leaving early, etc. during class time. Come see me before or after class.

FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES!

Ms. Quisenberry’s Rule: No negative attitudes about the subject at hand! Always try your best and I know you will do fine!
