ANNUAL/ELECTION MEETING

A total of 19 Chapter members were in attendance. The meeting was called to order at 6:10pm
MEMBERSHIP REPORT
Chapter membership remains consistent at about 900 members. Two members were recognized for attending their first Chapter meeting.
Members are encouraged to keep their information, especially e-mail addresses, current at the BMWCCA.org website.
TREASURER’S REPORT
A Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement were distributed. Concerns raised over the cost of the newsletter versus advertising income.
NEWSLETTER
The rising costs to produce a hard copy newsletter were discussed. Following discussions with CCA, it is likely the Chapter will convert to an entirely electronic version shortly. Articles for Spring edition due 2/18.
SOCIAL CALENDAR
Following events are confirmed/tentative:
March 10 – Enter the Imaginarium
April 21 – McLaughlin Distillery visit
May 19 – Nemacolin Castle visit in conjunction with National Pike Festival
June – Pig Roast at Vilka Bistro
August 10 – German Car Night – Victory Church Wexford
PRE-PLANNING
Fall Grand Tour to the Omni Homestead in Hot Springs, VA
TRACK EVENTS
No AutoCross series this year.
May 5 – Introduction to AutoCross Clinic
October 20 – possible an Adult Street Survival followed by the Teen version.
O’FEST
Numerous activies during the 2 week period, including Welcome Reception, TSD Rally, dinner cruise on Gateway Clipper, Concours at Point State Park, Autocross, reception at Carnegie Science Center, Fallingwater drive, awards dinner – all in addition to the regular schedule for PVGP at PIRC and Schenley Park. A lot of volunteers will be needed to assist in all of these events.

Via e-mail, the Election Secretary ratified the results of the uncontested election for 2018:
