BALFOUR, Belva - Peacefully at Rosebridge Manor, Easton’s Corners on Monday, May 16, 2005. Belva Wright, in her 98th year. Widow of Lawrence Balfour. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. John Albert Joseph McLarry - 71 years old, entered into rest on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at home with his family by his side. Born January 17, 1934 at the Ottawa GeneralHospital to William Jack McLarry and the former Lillian Josephine Debruge. He was raised and educated in Spencerville and Lanark, later moving to Brockville where he met his wife Iona. Together they raised their family between Lyn and the Halleck’s Road in Brockville. In October 1991, John and Iona left Brockville to “retire” in Lanark where he resided until his death. Throughout his life, John worked a number of jobs like Lloyd Thompson Construction, Northern Pipeline, Brockville and Phillips Cables in Brockville for 27 years. He also trapped, hunted and fished and told the best stories about his adventures. For the past 7 years he worked on his sawmill. John was there to help anyone that needed to be helped! And if he couldn’t help you he knew someone who could! He is survived by his wife the former lona Pearl Blanchard and 7 children: Laura McLarry of Lanark, Richard McLarry and wife Louella of Brockville, Michael McLarry and wife Christine of Lanark, Lisa Senneker and husband Rick of North Augusta, Joe McLarry and wife Tammy of Brockville, Jason McLarry and wife Anita of Napanee and Ashley Rogers of Georgia:
