Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Omega Omicron Omega Chapter: we are pleased to announce that multiple $500 scholarships will be awarded to 11th and 12th grade African American female students enrolled in North San Diego County high schools. Completed applications must be submitted electronically by May 19, 2017. Students must go to: and select the Scholarship Tab for the eligibility criteria and Scholarship Application Tab to complete the online application. Please note that only electronically submitted applications will be considered. The scholarship award recipients will be notified by Monday, May 22 2017.

Oz Foundation Scholarship - San Diego or Santa Clara Counties, CA. Oz Foundation is a family organization that has funded the college education of students from low-income backgrounds. The ideal candidate is someone who is presently attending high school or college and has demonstrated that he or she is capable of college/university work but does not have the financial resources to attend college. If accepted, recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA per term and complete at least 12 units each quarter/semester while attending college to remain eligible. After you have been accepted to an accredited four-year college/university, have applied for financial aid, and received the response to your request for financial aid, please fill out the application found at this link: Oz Foundation Scholarship Application

All newly admitted Chicano(o)/Latina(o) Golden Bears are encouraged to apply, regardless of financial need or immigration status. Two awards of $250-$350 each.
