Back in Scotland by popular demand, event rider and coach Eric Smiley FBHS is an International Judge and regular Ground Jury member. He most recently coached the Belgian eventing team for the 2012 Olympics and has regularly represented Ireland at championship level.

His hallmark is sound jumping training as explained in his book “Look … No Hands!” which aims to simplify the concept of going cross country.

A passionate and enthusiastic teacher, Eric has conducted clinics around the world from the continent of America to Dubai and South Africa to Denmark. He brings a unique blend of competition experience and education to an audience of all levels.

Do not miss a unique opportunity to be taught by this outstanding horseman and one of the best jumping and cross country trainers in the world! Experience the fully dressed BE course from the previous day’s competition.

Each group will last 1 hour 30 mins. We intend to have a maximum of 5 riders per group. Groups will be formed depending on riders’ ability. We will run sessions from BE 90 up to Novice. You can book in groups of 5 if you wish. We will advise you of your time slot, when confirming your booking.

Places are strictly on a first come, first served basis and cost £40.
