DEALER GUIDELINES

  1. Review TEC’s 30 Day Money Back GuaranteeReturn Policy with the CustomerPrior to the Sale of Any TEC Grill

Prior to the sale of any TEC grill, the Dealer should review TEC’s 30 Day Money Back Guarantee Return Policy with the customer and either provide the Customer a copy of the Policy or direct the Customer to the Policy on the TEC website (

  1. Responsibility to Retain Original Packaging

All grills must be returned in their original packaging. In the event that a Customer purchases a floor sample or pre-assembled grill, the Dealer must retain the original packaging in order to provide it to the Customer at the time of purchase.

  1. Return Authorization and Shipping

The Dealer must contact TEC’s Customer Service Manager to notify of a return within 30 days from the date of purchaseof the grill or 35 days from the date of shipment in circumstances where product is shipped to the Dealer or Customer after the sale. In order for the return to be processed, the Dealer must provide TEC with (1) proof of purchase with the original purchase date, (2) the serial number of the product, and (3) the Customer contact information. TEC will contact the Customer directly to issue a Return Authorization (RA) number and arrange the return shipping.

  1. Return Freight

TEC will arrange the return shipment of the product to TEC directly with the Customer, including scheduling a pickup time and collecting payment for the return shipment. The Customer is responsible for all costs associated with return freight which must be prepaid by the Customer prior to pick-up.

  1. Dealer Refund to the Customer

TEC will contact the Dealer within 7-14 days of receipt of the returned product to authorize a Customer refund by the Dealer. Refunds under this program apply only to the returned product and do not include associated charges such as delivery, conversion, installation, etc. Only products returned in good and clean condition with all paperwork and parts will qualify for a full refund. In the event that a grill is returned incomplete or damaged (except when the damage is the responsibility of the freight carrier), TEC will assess the cost of repair or replacement and instruct the Dealer to deduct that amount from the Customer’s original purchase price.Within 7 days of receipt of TEC’s authorization, Dealer must issue a refund to the Customer in the amount authorized by TEC and e-mail proof of refund to issuing the refund to the Customer, the Dealer must also remit to TEC any portion of the Customer’s original purchase price that was withheld to cover the costs of repair or replacement of the returned product.

  1. TEC Refund to the Dealer

Upon receipt of proof of Dealer Refund to the Customer, TEC shall credit the Dealer on invoices for products returned minus any deduction to the Customer’s refund for repair of the returned product or replacement of missing parts.
