When / Careers work
Years 7 & 8 / Additional support to complement the careers education provided by schools.
Year 9 / As with years 7 & 8, focusing on supporting Key Stage 4 subject choices.
Year 10 / Early preparation for the decisions that need to be made in Year 11 and exploring the available post-16 options.
Year 11 / Help and support with finding, deciding upon and applying for:
·  Colleges and 6th Forms.
·  Apprenticeships
·  Work
·  Other training opportunities
After Year 11 / Help and support with accessing and moving between education, training and employment, including progression onto Higher Education (i.e. University).
Anytime / Practical support with all areas of careers work including:
·  Finding educational, training and employment opportunities.
·  Completing application forms
·  Writing CV’s and covering letters
·  Telephone Skills
·  Interview Techniques
