Using Student Webmail
How to log in to your account:
· Open your web-browser, and in the address bar type http://students.clinton.edu and press enter or go to the main Clinton Community College web site (www.clinton.edu).
· Select STUDENT WEBMAIL near the bottom on the page.
· You will be prompted for your User Name, Password
· Enter your username, e.g. smit4321 (user name is always the first four (4) letters of your last name followed by the last four (4) numbers from your Social Security Number).
· Enter your password.
· Click “OK” and you will be logged into your account.
· Click OK to proceed
Using Your Clinton Community College Email Account
Once you have successfully logged into your account you will be presented with a screen that looks like the one below. By default you are logged into your inbox, where you can review and reply to your messages.
To compose a message:
To compose an e-mail message, simply click the “new” button located on the outlook task bar. A new screen will appear.

Attaching a File to Your Message
Often you will need to attach files to your messages. This is a handy way to turn in assignments when your instructor says that he will accept them this way. You can also send files created on campus to your home email address in order to continue working on the file at home.
To read and reply to a message:
New messages will appear in the inbox. Open the message that you want to reply to by double clicking on it. The message will open in a new window.
Remove mail from your folders
From time to time, it is a good idea to remove old mail from your folders. Mail accumulates in the <Inbox> folder, the <Sent> folder and the <Deleted Items> folder.
