National Youth Disability Conference (NYDC)

Delegate Sponsorship Application Form

A limited amount of funding is available to support the participation of young people with disabilities at the NYDC conference on 24 & 25 September 2012. Sponsorship is available to cover flights and accommodation. All participants will be required to pay their own registration fee. Follow the link to the registration page

To be eligible for sponsorship, you must:

  • Be between the ages of 12 and 25
  • Have a disability
  • Live outside of Melbourne metropolitan area

Priority will be given to people who demonstrate a strong interest in advocating for the rights of young people with disabilities.

Terms and conditions:

  • Young people who are representing organisations should seek funding from their organisations and not through this sponsorship program.
  • Participants need to arrange their own travel and accommodation and forward a copy of the receipts to r reimbursement. Sponsorship will only cover up to two nights’ accommodation.
  • Funding will be provided within 30 days on receipt of a tax invoice as outlined in your letter of sponsorship. Please be aware that we are unable to reimburse costs without receipts.

Sponsorship funding is limited and there is likely to be more demand for funding than we can provide. Therefore, if you choose to register before being notified of the result of your application, you will forfeit your registration fee if you are unable to attend.
