Learning Objectives:
·  Hear about the life of Muhammad
·  To begin to understand the basic historical sequence of Moses, Jesus and Muhammad / Literacy & Numeracy Framework

Communication :
·  Can discuss/produce evidence of their own and others responses to questions about religion, life and the world around them.(Level 4)
·  Can express and justify ideas and opinions about fundamental questions relating to investigations and experiences (Level 5) / Values / ·  Hear about Muhammad’s life including his marriage, the recitation of the Qur’an, the journey to Medina, and the subsequent establishment of a Muslim community in Mecca.
·  Learn about the 5 Pillars of Islam
·  Use all media – Internet, books, discussion to find out about Islam and produce a PowerPoint – in groups
·  Study Islamic Art – children produce a piece of art work
Thinking & Problem Solving:
·  Can use a range of evidence from a variety of sources effectively, in order to present and support opinions in an open-minded way [Level 4] / Revise history on time lines; begin to put dates onto the life of Moses (about 1200
