Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card
We will begin working on our next unit, Ender’s Game in January as soon as we return from Christmas Break. Please make sure that you beginning reading the novel and have access to it.
There are three ways to read the novel:
- Hard copy --- You can buy the novel from Amazon.com (new or used), Barnes & Noble, etc. If you choose to get a hard copy, I would recommend ordering it now.
- PDF -- You can look under LINKS and/ or SUPPLY LIST on my teacher page and there is a link to a PDF copy that is FREE. If you choose this option, go ahead and make sure you can view the book ahead of time using your chosen electronic device(s).
- Audio Book -- I also have an audio book link under LINKS and SUPPLY LIST. This is a FREE audio book. If you choose this option, make sure you can listen to the audio book ahead of time on your electronic device(s).
Remember, I gave out the book list with my parent letter in August right after I found out what books were in our curriculum and my supply list has been on my web page all year long. “My book has not arrived” and “My book is just shipping” will not be valid excuses, nor will“But I couldn’t get it to open so I could read it/ listen to it.” You are accountable for your work and your grade. Take responsibility and begin working to get access to the book so you can begin reading!
