By applying for membership of the CITB swimming pool you agree to abide by the Membership Terms and Conditions overleaf and agree to pay the following fees:-

(2 adults and 3 children max under 18)

Membership Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions in full and retain this sheet for your information.

Payment Terms

Membership can only be confirmed when payment has been received. Payment must be made by cheque/postal order or credit/debit card. Please make all cheques/postal orders payable to CITB. Card payments will be taken through the Birches Hotel and Conference Centre or Main Reception, run by CITB.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your membership please call The Birches on 0800 2800 343.

Membership cannot be transferred.

CITB shall not be liable to members in any manner for closure of the site and/or swimming pool and any cancellation of swimming sessions, or at all, where such cancellation, postponement or failure is caused directly or indirectly by flood, fire, storm, explosion, accident, theft, shortage of electricity or fuel, shortage of material or labour, Government Acts or Regulations, strike lockout or trade dispute (whether in respect of CITB employees or not), or any other circumstances whatsoever beyond its control.

CITB reserve the right to rescind membership at any time if it believes a member is not complying with these terms and conditions, or behaving in an inappropriate manner. Members must show their membership/access card at all times.

Acknowledgement of Risks, Injury and Obligations

There are risks of using a swimming pool and you confirm that you are fit and able to use the pool and have taken advice from your doctor if you have any concerns about your health. In signing these terms and conditions you are confirming that you acknowledge the activity you are undertaking is potentially dangerous and that you are exposed to certain risks. You confirm that you understand the risks in use of a swimming pool and will take all precautions to protect your own health and safety whilst using the pool. Except in circumstances where CITB has been negligent, it cannot be liable for any injury, damage or loss whilst using the swimming pool facilities.

Lockers are provided at the swimming pool. Please use these as CITB cannot be liable for property loss or damaged whilst using the swimming pool facilities when not placed and adequately secured in the lockers.

Damage

CITB reserves the right to charge any member for any damage caused to the swimming pool or surrounding area used by the member.

Equal Opportunities/Drug and Alcohol Policies

CITB has an equal opportunities policy and a drugs and alcohol policy on display at the Swimming Pool, which all members are expected to abide by CITB requests that all its customers and their guests behave in a responsible and appropriate manner.
