TERMS and CONDITIONS
BOOKINGS
Reservations must be made using the appropriate website booking form, and must be completed in full. Terms and Conditions must be read, understood and agreed to.
Clients are reminded that a completed booking form and payment is a legally binding contract.
PAYMENTS
Payment in full is required to secure and confirm a booking.
Part payments or part deposits are NOT accepted
Payment methods include;
EFT (electronic funds transfer)
Credit Card
Australia Post Money Order
Cash pre-payment
Upon receiving funds, we will e-mail reply with a PAID and CONFIRMED booking advice.
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
Simple.
Up to 7 days before the booked date : 100% refund. No questions. Whatever the reason.
It doesn't matter if you get sick, friends drop out, or you just change your mind.
Full 100 % refund.
Less than 7 days before the booked date : NIL refund.
SECURITY BOND
A credit card pre-authorisation of $250 will be required as a cleaning/damage bond.
Any soiling of the vehicle deemed in the opinion of the driver or operator to be excessive, and requiring cleaning before the next charter, will be incur a $250 minimum cleaning fee, which will be deducted from the security bond.
The company (V6 Engineering P/L trading as the ARMY BUS) reserves the right to demand full compensation for payment of any damage caused by passengers or hiring parties travelling in the vehicle, whether caused accidentally, negligently or maliciously.
It is the responsibility of the hiring person to ensure no damage is caused to the vehicle. Any damage to to the vehicle hired , either by clients, family members or guests, are payable by the client. This charge will be charged to the customers credit card which is supplied on the booking form.
PRIVACY POLICY
Except as required by law, no personal details will be transferred to another party without permission. Unless otherwise instructed in writing, guests photographs may appear on the website photo gallery.
PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE
Our public liability insurance covers all authorised passengers whilst travelling to their destination. Passengers assume personal liability when entering and exiting the vehicle.
No responsibility will be accepted for goods left in the vehicle.
FOOD
Food of any description may NOT be consumed in the vehicle
SMOKING
Smoking of any substance is NOT permitted in the vehicle.
CHEWING GUM
Chewing gum is NOT permitted in the vehicle.
ALCOHOL
Intoxicated or unruly behaved passengers will not be tolerated.
This is NOT a booze bus.
The driver or operator of the hired vehicle at the time of the charter has the right to refuse to carry any person who is heavily intoxicated or behaving in an unruly or dangerous manner. The charter may be terminated at the sole discretion of the driver or operator without refund.
Hirers are reminded of strict laws relating to consumption of alcohol by persons under the age of 18 years. Any breach of these laws will result in immediate termination of charter, without refund.
ACCESS
Due to the large size of this tourist coach, access may not be possible due to narrow roads, low trees, poorly placed council road signs and traffic islands. This also applies to many function centers.
WAITING / OVERTIME CHARGES
Every effort will be made to ensure requested pick up and drop off times, however allowances must be made for traffic delays, weather conditions or vehicle break downs.
We cannot be held liable for those circumstances which are beyond our control.
Maximum refund possible due to unforeseen circumstances shall not exceed the amount quoted for the charter.
Late charges due to clients exceeding the booked finish time will be charged at $100 per 30 minute (or part thereof) increment.
This must be paid to the driver in cash or will be charged to client credit card.
Many bookings have closely timed 'follow on' bookings.
Please consider your groups late pick up timing or 'missing persons', and the impact it will have on other groups travel plans.
OK, that's the legal stuff out of the way.
Please be assured that cleaning / damage bonds are not in place to earn extra money.
