Physics 1408 (Principles of Physics I), Summer II, 2011; HOMEWORK
Mastering Physics Student Registration Instructions
PLEASE READ THIS THOROUGHLY SO THAT
I DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER 50+ QUESTIONS ABOUT IT!!!
Thank you!!!

Homework will be done on-line at Mastering Physics. If you've never used it before, bear in mind that, although I have used it some, I'm not an expert! So, I ask that you please be patient with me as we learn about it together. I've set up our course & a PRACTICE ASSIGNMENT is posted.(Some other assignments are also posted).Instructions on how to access the site are below. The practice assignment isn't for credit, but I want you to do it because it teaches you how to use Mastering Physics. It is called "Mastering Physics Intro". It is important for you to do it, but I won't count your score on it in your grade. If you do it, it won't count, no matter what score you get. But, at session's end, I'll lower your homework grade by 20 points if you haven't done it. It should be open to you once you have registered on Mastering Physics, & it will be closed (you can no longer work on it!)after Wednesday, July 13 at 11:30pm. This is how it will usually be. I will ATTEMPT to post assignments at the time we start a chapter. Typically they’ll bedue 11:30pm about a week later.
