Welcome to Term 1 of the 2016 school year! We hope you all managed to have some quality time together with your families over the holidays. I have enjoyed spending this week travelling around the classrooms listening to the children’s holiday stories. They are all ready to go and looking forward to some exciting learning this year.
We welcome all new families to Queenspark and hope that the children have settled in well and are making friends quickly. Welcome to, Ferghus Walsh, Isaac Ridden, Ryan Kane, Xavier Stockman, Angelique Ayloff, Sofia Tuboltsev, Alisha Patel, Jacqueline Willis, Mason Mander, Emma Hay, Jayden Sloan, Kate, Max & George Rountree, Mackenzie Stock, Bailey & Levi Christensen, Molly & Will Edwards, Emma Hall & Maia Van Arendonk. Our starting roll this year is 507.
We thank you for your patience with the current road works. They are making good progress here and should be finished up this week.
Our Meet the Teacher meetings are scheduled for the next few weeks. We hope that you will be able to make time to come along and connect with your child’s class teacher and hear the important learning information they plan to share with you.
Our senior students are away on camp in week 3. We are all looking forward to joining with them and watching the way they step up and challenge themselves.
Regards
Ross Willocks
