Ray Poirier currently holds professional certifications as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)(PMI), Master Black Belt (MBB)/(BAH) Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)(ASQ) Certified Supply Chain Specialist (CSCP) (APICS) Certified Information Security Professional (CIAPT)(NSRB), Certified Lean Expert (MMTC). Ray Poirier has a successful track record of IT and operational business process improvements and ERP system implementations in multiple industries for a wide range of global and domestic projects. Ray Poirier has served over (10) Fortune 500 companies in (15) different countries in individual facility or multi-national global project coordination role. Ray Poirier multiple industry experience including Automotive, Government, Defense, Aerospace, Retail, Software Development, Telecommunications, Building Materials, Heavy Equipment and the Banking industry. Ray is an expert in identification and integration of Physical and Transactional Business Process Improvement opportunities and process mapping. Ray Poirier has proven experience and knowledge in deployment of numerous Physical Business Operational and Transactional Information Technology (IT) improvement. RayPoirier has been responsible to establish various new businesses, new facilities, product development centers, coordinate and resolve supplier cost-quality issues. Ray has coordinated various cost reduction activities through the implementation of Toyota Production System LEAN principles, awhile applying Six Sigma tools and performing activity based product cost analysis. Ray has implemented various Product-Process Development Systems, Quality Management, and Environmental, Health and Safety Management systems in the establishment of these new businesses. that include ISO/QS 9000, TS 19649, ISO14001 and OSHA 18001.
Ray has recently been recently serving as a consultant for a wide range of projects and project scopes for companies such Autodesk Inc, Kelly Services, Yazaki Automotive, Bombardier Aerospace and the Department of Defense. Ray provides a wide variety of Lean Six Sigma, Operational Improvement and Business Process Re-engineering consulting serviceswhich ties the physical operational improvement environment as well as with the transactional information management environment into optimized solutions. Ray has experience working in small, midsized and large multinational corporations, along with large public sector clients such as the DOD. Ray has lead the justification, development and implementation of various PLM and ERP systems and has served as a team member in defining requirements for thebusiness hardware and software configuration and integration services to deploy these enterprise solutions
As part of these experiences Ray has served on teams as a functional expert for trouble shooting problem deployments of SAP and Oracle ERP PTC-Wind chill and Autodesk PLM enterprise solutions. Ray has exposure to a wide variety of the associated sub modules for SAP and Oracle Enterprise solutions . Ray has worked at the plant floor level as well as the C-Level of organizations.
Ray currently serves as an Adjunct Professor for (2) universities in the field of Information Technology, Information Assurance, Business Process Re-engineering, Program Management and Supply Chain Management. Ray has obtained Bachelors of Science Degrees in the fields of Electro and Mechanical Technology disciplines and has a Master of Business Administration with a specialty in Technology Management.
