Players are requested to be at the venue 15 minutes

priorto the designated start time.

Schools can have up to 6 pairs in each of the Under 13

and Under 15 events and 8 pairs in each of the

Under 19 events.

Ages will be as at 31/12/2015.

For example if you turn 12 in2015 you can play Under 13, if you turn 13 in 2015 you will need to play Under 15 and if you turn 15 in 2015 you will need to play Under 19.

ENTRY FEES: $8 per player per event

All players are requested to pay the entry fees themselves on the day as they enter the venue.

CONDITIONS OF PLAY

  1. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to amend or add to these conditions as may be necessary and to cancel any event for which there are insufficient entries.
  2. All matches will be played using the round robin format i.e 1 game to 21 points without setting using the rally point scoring system. Finals will be held where there are more than two groups and will also be 1 game to 21 points using the rally point scoring system without setting.
  3. Feather shuttles will be used exclusively throughout the Tournament.
  4. Any player participating in the tournament must, when called upon, act as a court official as required.
  5. Players must be attired in clothing of their school.
  6. If the Tournament is interrupted for any reason (power failure etc.) the Tournament Committee reserves the right to postpone any, or all events until such time or date they consider suitable, or to abandon matches or events.
  7. ALL decisions of the Referee (or the responsible official for the time being) are FINAL.
  8. Local conditions: It will be a fault if, in play, the shuttle hits the roof or other part of the hall structure.
  9. All ages are determined as at 31st December 2015 eg if you turn 12 in 2015you are able to play Under 13, if you turn 13 in 2015 you will need to play Under 15 and if you turn 15or more in 2015 you will need to play Under 19 Years.
  10. Players that have represented Qld Badminton Association or another State in a Junior Team in 2014 or 2015are not permitted to play.
  11. In order to play in tournament both players in a doubles combination must be from the same school.
  12. Players are permitted to play in one age group only (i.e there age group or one higher).
  13. Schools are permitted a maximum of 6 doubles pairs in anyUnder 13 or Under 15 event i.e 6 pairs x Under 13 Boys Doubles, 6 pairs x Under 13 Girls Doubles, 6 pairs x Under 15 Boys Doubles, 6 pairs x Under 15 Girls Doubles. In the Under 19 Boys Doubles 8 pairs will be permitted and in the Under 19 Girls Doubles 8 pairs will also be permitted.

14.By entering this event, the player hereby agrees and acknowledges that other players, coaches, managers, supporters, spectators, the organisers, administrators and any other person, shall have the right to: photograph and/or record on video all and any games or practice conducted during the course of the event, retain such photographs or video recordings for their own use of whatsoever nature, distribute such photographs or video recordings to any other party, display such photographs or video recordings during the event or any time thereafter, in any form whatsoever (including, but not limited to: promotional displays of the organisers and at any similar event, social network internet sites, the website(s) of the organisers of the event or Queensland Badminton Association PROVIDED THAT no such photographs or video recordings shall be used or retained for any illegal immoral or unseemly use or purpose.15.
