SUBJECT: Road Repairs
Dear Residents:
To keep our municipal infrastructure network in good condition, major paving operations and sidewalk repairs are planned this year, along:
1- 2e Avenue, between Provost and the northern limits
2- 43e Avenue, between Victoria and Provost
3- 47e Avenue, between civic numbers 165 and 245
4- rue Stanley, between des Érables and Desrosiers
This work will begin in October and will take approximately 8 weeks to complete. Due to planning reasons, the roadwork along some of these street sections may be postponed to 2017.
While this work is under way, to avoid a ticket and having your car towed as well as the expenses you will incur as a result, please obey the signs that will be installed by the contractor. You will have access to your driveway, except when the work is being carried out directly in front of your property. At that time, we encourage you to park on nearby streets, while obeying the signs in place.
Household waste and recycling collections will be maintained according to the usual schedule. If it becomes necessary to temporarily interrupt the water supply service, you will be notified in advance.
If you are thinking about making changes to your driveway or replacing your water or sewage connections or any other work requiring excavations (such as electrical or gas connections, etc.), it would be to your advantage to do so now, because no excavation requests within the Borough's right-of-way will be accepted within the next 5 years.

If you are planning on moving or if you are expecting a delivery while this roadwork is under way, please notify us as quickly as possible so that this information can be given to the contractor and measures can be taken accordingly.
