English Civil War -Recruitment Brochure

Task:

You will create a brochure from the perspective of either a Roundhead (Parliament) or a Cavalier (Royalist) convincing the reader that they should join your side in the Civil War. Use colour and graphics to appeal to the reader. Use a single sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper to complete your pamphlet.

Be sure to include the following information:

1)  What is the main cause that you are fighting for?

2)  What has the other side done wrong? Minimum 5 reasons/events and why that is bad.

3)  Why should the reader not join the other side?

4)  What changes will you bring to England if your side wins?

Make sure that your pamphlet is historically accurate and reflective of the time period!
