OPENING:

The Parkland Football Booster Club meeting started at ___7:03pm______

PRESENT

There were ___3_ board members present and ____13 members

A.READING AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES

The minutes are on the Gridiron and the web site.

August Minutes were motioned by Howie Lessel and Second by Patrick Kramer minutes approved

B.OFFICER’S REPORTS

1.Treasurer’s Report:

Beginning balance: August 1, 2017 $7,328.00

Ending balance: $9050.00 as of August 31

  • All Friday night pre game meals are paid for
  • Will bring check for hoagies to school on Wednesday for Betty
  • Checks will be made out weekly to winners of football mania tickets as of now have 4 winners
  • Svs gave us first check for online sale will follow up on second sale check

2. President’s Report:

  • Update on Trojan challenge, all grades have been mailed out. Turn was mediocore.
  • Lesson learned next year will be done during double lunches
  • Roger Haas passed away and in lieu of flowers donations were sent to PFBC as of now $1,265.00 Erin will send out thank you notes.

3. Vice President’s Report-

  • none

4. Secretary’s Report

  • Need bagged meals for Pocono Mountain game will coordinate with Betty

5. Coach’s Report

  • Happy with all level of football programs only 1 loss for Middle School team
  • Ordered wolf pack shirts will also order mess shorts for players
  • Will purchase tackle rings for spring, maybe paid for by school
  • Red pants from Muhlenburg College

C. NEW BUSINESS

  • Committee for Senior night needed. Senior night is October 27. Need about 3 parents.
  • Starting to form a banquet committee. Date for banquet Feb 18,2018
  • First person on banquet committee is Yahaira Glover

D.OLD BUSINESS:

E.FUNDRAISERS:

  • Football mania cards sold 344, for a total of $8,600.00. PFBC profit $6,020.00.
  • Second dine and donate check from PJs was $276.00 and Jersey Mikes was $130.00
  • Program book total $9,825.00 includes band and cheer
  • Pancake breakfast and basket raffle on October 14 from 8-11. There will be a sign-up genius to volunteer to cook.
  • Butter braid and cake rolls will be sold end of October to be delivered early November. They are purchased frozen so can use for thanksgiving holiday.
  • WAWA hoagie card sales postponed for now.
  • Tina Neith will coordinate dine and donate at Biaggios for weekend of October 6,7,8.
  • Snack stand profit $3,400.00

G.ADJOURNMENT

The meeting ended at 8:05pm. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday October 10 at 7 pm in room D133.
