Exhibits

Storyboard your exhibit thoroughly. How is your exhibit going to express your research in a very clear and definitive way? Refer to storyboard instructions and deadlines.

Break the exhibit into distinct areas of focus and incorporate your research into those areas. Thesis, connection to “Taking a Stand in History”, visuals, quotes, documents, artifacts, etc.

Materials must be chosen to construct your visual/tri-fold. Refer to guidelines for exhibits in your NHD packet.

Begin a collection of artifacts that compliment your exhibit.

Be extremely creative, but it must be segmented and organized very well.

NO Store-bought Trifolds

Documentaries

Storyboard your documentaries. Illustrate each slide with areas of focus, visuals, quotations, backgrounds, etc. Refer to storyboard instructions and deadlines.

Create all documentaries by incorporating all clear photos, videos, interviews, narrations, music, etc. into software of your choice. Ie. I-Movie or Windows Live Movie Maker

Segment your documentary according to the areas of focus.

Be sure to express your thesis at the introduction and maintain “Taking a Stand in History” throughout the presentation.

Be extremely creative, but it should be very clear and easy to follow.

Avoid text material other than captions.

Deadlines for the scripts must be met.
