GET READY FOR SPRING WITH HOZELOCK’S TOP ESSENTIALS
It’s that time of year every gardener loves looking forward to… the start of spring.
With the buds forming and the bulbs flowering many of us should all be feeling inspired and getting in the mood to get out into the garden.

· Early spring is all about planning and preparation. Do you want to add a vegetable patch, expand the borders or make a few design changes? Why not start by making a few notes on what you’d like to achieve this year.
· Start browsing gardening magazines and seed catalogues for inspiration and build up a list of what you need.
· Spring clean the shed and discard safely any out-of-date fertilisers or sprays and replace or repair any broken tools or hose attachments such as hose nozzles so that they are ship shape for when the work starts.
· Have a look for any new, innovative products that can make light work of gardening so you can enjoy spending time in it rather than it becoming a chore.
· Although not the case so far this year, rain may be in short supply this summer so, if that becomes a reality or you find you struggle to keep up on the watering, look at different ways to make life easier to grow flowers and vegetables and still get expert home grown results.
