Western Fairfax Christian Ministries’ Holiday Food Program provides low-income families living in western Fairfax County with holiday food assistance for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

To Qualify You MUST:

  • Be a Fairfax County resident living in Centreville, Chantilly, Clifton, Fairfax, Fairfax Station (zip codes: 20120, 20121, 20122, 20124, 20151, 20153, 22033, 22039)
  • Meet Income eligibility requirements and/or a client in good standing at WFCM’s food pantry
  • Not be receiving assistance from any other program, e.g. The Salvation Army, JMCAP, church or community organizations, etc. If you sign up with another agency, you will be removed from receiving assistance from WFCM. We share our lists with others as well.

Food Assistance (REGISTRATION DEADLINE is OCTOBER 28, 2016):

Please be aware WFCM will provide Food Assistance through several methods. It is important that we know your current address and phone number. Ways you may receive assistance include:

  • Sponsored by church, business, or group. Some groups require families to pick up assistance at a designated time and place and some might deliver. You will be contacted by the group with instructions about delivery or pickup.
  • Sponsored by individual. You will be contacted by the person sponsoring your family.
  • Pickup at WFCM’s Food Pantry. You will be contacted with information about day and time to pick up your food and turkey.
  • Gift Cards to purchase food items for your holiday meal. These will be mailed.

To register for ONC’s Holiday Gift Program (DEADLINE is November 10, 2016):

If you have a school-aged child and want to receive gifts for children under age 18, please register at your child’s school through a social worker or a school counselor by November 10th. Families are selected on a first come first serve basis so please register early. You may need to bring/provide:

  • Picture ID (Fairfax County only)
  • Proof Of Residency: a bill with your name and current address
  • Meet eligibility guidelines: 130% of Government poverty level (e.g. qualify for free lunch at schools)

If you do not have a child/children enrolled in school and want to receive gifts (children under 18 years of age), please complete the 2015 Holiday Gift Request Form available at the front desk. You must complete the form to be referred to Our Neighbors Child. WFCM does not provide gifts.
