The countdown to demopark 2017 has begun – Sensational innovations expected due to outstanding exhibitor response

The countdown has begun for demopark 2017, which will take place in Eisenach, in the German state of Thuringia, from 11 to 13June. The organiser anticipates an extremely successful exhibition. “The demand this year breaks all previous records. Already we are almost fully booked,” says VDMA Managing Director and exhibition initiator Dr.Bernd Scherer. For years, the innovations exhibition, with an area of more than 25 hectares, has been “a firm date in the calendar of the European gardening and landscaping sector, municipalities and golf course pros,” which inevitably increases industry response.

For the tenth time, tailored to the needs of practitioners

“I can already promise you an exciting summer with a unique array of sensational innovations,” emphasises Scherer. With its extensive range of products “to handle and try out”demoparkhas a clear advantage over indoor exhibitions with their limited possibilities. “What we do is tailored to the needs of practitioners. At demopark, robot mowers conquer steep slopes, tractors master demanding cross-country terrain, and the performance of power saws can be seen and heard.” Effectively unsurpassed technological diversity, in terms of both breadth and depth, is the unique distinguishing feature of the exhibition, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary next year.

Turf experts also traditionally find what they need at demopark: With attractive field demonstrations and exciting expert presentations, the Turf Show, organised under the auspices of the Deutsche Rasengesellschaft (German Turfgrass Society), will inform interested visitors about topics concerning sports and golf turfgrass.

Largest open-air exhibition throughout the industry in Europe

As the largest European open-air exhibition for the professional use of machinery for green space care, gardening and landscaping, and the municipal sector, demopark + demogolf provides a unique opportunity to experience the practical, application-oriented operation of machinery and equipment. The exhibition is organised by GzF (GesellschaftzurFörderung des MaschinenbausmbH), a wholly-owned subsidiary of VDMA. More information can be found at
