Just Do It!

Fundraising Institute APPLICATION

In partnership with the United Way of Alamance and other local funding sources, a capacity building program is scheduled for fall. The “Just Do It! Fundraising Institute” will be held on campus. Sessions will be once per month September, October, November and December with a final session for presentations early February. A competitive application and small committee will identify four students to participate.

In addition, ten non-profit community organization directors and board chair (or most relevant board position) will also attend and have a similar process for acceptance through the United Way of Alamance. Required participation is necessary to receive full benefits of the institute. In addition to the content, discussion and development of a created fundraising plan, benefits to students include a United Way of Alamance certificate of completion and one year of 2018 membership through Elon with the NC Center for Non-profits.

Please complete this application by May 8, at 5pm and sent to

Applications received after this time will not be accepted. You will be notified May 12 as to the status of your application. Questions may be directed to Tammy Cobb, Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement at
