Descriptions of tasks interns will be responsible for:

We have a variety of technical and non-technical roles within IT. Our placement process is determined by the interests and career aspirations of the intern. The program manager will have conversations with the intern prior to placement. The intern will speak to managers for roles they express interest in. Speaking with a program manager and role manager allows the intern to hear about multiple roles across the organization and learn about each team directly before committing to a particular placement.

Some roles we have available but are not limited to:

Social Listening Analyst

Project Management

Application Developer

Network Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer

Security Analyst

Business Analyst

Systems Analyst

Quality Assurance Analyst

Skills required and/or desired for the internship:

Junior or Senior in high school

Passionate about technology

Desire to learn

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Time management skills

Self-starter

Motivated

Location of internship:

Bloomfield, CT

Age requirement for intern:

17

Start date (Must be post the planned last day of school, 6/6/2015):

Days and times for the internship (# of total hours each week):

40 hours a week

Monday-Friday

Exact hours will be determined between the intern and role manager on the interns first day

Salary range (hourly rate):

$15.00/hour
