Duties/responsibilities:

Typing, filing, wordprocessing, data entry, typesetting, coding, posting, bookkeeping

Researching, teaching, editing, writing, proofreading

Scheduling, coordinating, organizing, updating

Preparing packets, mailings, or equipment

Responding to inquiries - phone, mail, reception, tours, counter work

Stocking, receiving, shelving,transporting, delivering, gardening, groundskeeping

Special skills needed:

Knowledge of computer programs (specify program)

10-key calculation by touch

Typing or wordprocessing (specify WPM required)

Photography or audio/video recording

Knowledge of grammar/punctuation (specify language)

Customer Oriented

Job Description & other Desirable Qualities:

Someone who is detail oriented; works well with others; has customer service experience; database management experience; and good communication skills.This person will provide general office support and should be able to do the following with relative independence: Working on our current blog and creating new blogs as needed for special events

Maintenance and outreach through our Facebook page

Maintenance and outreach using our Twitter account

Help create media for the office, including but not limited to:

Email outreach/blasts; Images/photos/graphics for the website; Videos for Student Services/International Services/etc.

Knowledge of current publishing, design and media software including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite (including OneNote) MAC OS, Adobe Creative Suite, Quicktime, iMovie, iPhoto etc.

Student must be able to work the specific hours for fall term of:Mon/Wed/Fri 2pm-4pm & Tues/Thurs 9am-12pm
