DEUTZ Diesel engine for gen set application, with two-circuit cooling, air to air charge air cooling able to run with double frequency 50 / 60 Hz.
Basic engine equipped with:
- Block - type crankcase of special cast iron
- Crankshaft of CrMo-steel, journals induction hardened
- Main and rod bearings, main bearing caps fastened with 4 bolts
- Pistons of special light metal, with insert ring carrier, cooling via spray nozzle
- Wet cylinder liners, individually replaceable, of centrifugal cast iron
- Individual cylinder heads with two inlet- and two outlet valves
- Single one-piece camshaft for both cylinder banks, carried in tunnel with bearing
bushes, mushroom tappets, hollow push rods
- Valves with automatic valve rotating device
- Steel brackets for engine support
- External torsional vibration damper
- Flywheel for connection with 18”
- Flywheel housing SAE 0
Electric starting system:
- Electric starter motor 24 V, 6,6 kW, make Bosch
