Scope of supply :

DEUTZ Diesel engine for gen set application, with two-circuit cooling, air to air charge air cooling able to run with double frequency 50 / 60 Hz.

Basic engine equipped with:

  • Block - type crankcase of special cast iron
  • Crankshaft of CrMo-steel, journals induction hardened
  • Main and rod bearings, main bearing caps fastened with 4 bolts
  • Pistons of special light metal, with insert ring carrier, cooling via spray nozzle
  • Wet cylinder liners, individually replaceable, of centrifugal cast iron
  • Individual cylinder heads with two inlet- and two outlet valves
  • Single one-piece camshaft for both cylinder banks, carried in tunnel with bearing

bushes, mushroom tappets, hollow push rods

  • Valves with automatic valve rotating device
  • Steel brackets for engine support
  • External torsional vibration damper

Electric starting system:
